Son arriv\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;univers de v\u00e9lo de route est synonyme pour un grand nombre de cycliste un apport de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 incontestable. Ce qui compte, c\u2019est la coh\u00e9rence, la durabilit\u00e9 et le contr\u00f4le dans toutes les situations : descente, pluie, freinage d&rsquo;endurance ou requ\u00e9rant de la puissance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Certains fabricants ont fait le choix de construire chaque pi\u00e8ce d\u2019\u00e9trier en une seule pi\u00e8ce usin\u00e9e CNC, pour garantir \u00e0 la fois rigidit\u00e9, pr\u00e9cision et long\u00e9vit\u00e9. On obtient ainsi des freins :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>performants, m\u00eame apr\u00e8s plusieurs saisons,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>personnalisables et r\u00e9visables,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>avec un ressenti constant dans toutes les conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Et quand une pi\u00e8ce s\u2019use ? Le r\u00f4le du liquide de frein<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Un syst\u00e8me hydraulique fonctionne comme un c\u00e2ble&#8230; mais liquide. Le liquide de frein transmet la pression exerc\u00e9e sur  levier jusqu\u2019aux pistons qui poussent les plaquette sur le disque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\uddea Il doit donc \u00eatre :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Incompressible,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stable thermiquement,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insensible \u00e0 l\u2019air et \u00e0 l\u2019eau.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Une bulle d\u2019air dans le circuit ? Le levier devient spongieux. Une mont\u00e9e en temp\u00e9rature sans marge thermique ? Le liquide bout, la pression chute, vous perdez la puissance.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Imaginez une colonne solide de liquide enferm\u00e9e dans la durite. Vous appuyez au levier \u2192 la pression se transmet directement aux pistons. Chaleur et performance : le vrai combat du frein<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Quand vous freinez, vous transformez l\u2019\u00e9nergie cin\u00e9tique de votre roue en chaleur. Cette chaleur :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>se propage aux plaquettes,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>puis \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9trier (bloc,pistons,joints)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>puis au liquide.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Si le liquide d\u00e9passe son point d\u2019\u00e9bullition ? Il se transforme en gaz compressible \u2192 perte de pression, freinage inefficace, fading* des plaquettes, cr\u00e9ation de condensation dans le circuit. Le choix du fluide est donc capital : il conditionne votre marge thermique et votre s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*<em>le fading d\u00e9signe litt\u00e9ralement \u00ab l&rsquo;\u00e9vanouissement \u00bb de la puissance de freinage d\u00fb \u00e0 une chaleur excessive des plaquettes. Cet \u00e9tat est provoqu\u00e9 par la d\u00e9t\u00e9rioration des couches superficielles de la garniture, qui se trouvent d\u00e8s lors comme lubrifi\u00e9es.<\/em> Le choix de type de garniture devra \u00eatre d\u00e9fini en fonction de votre pratique, conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9o, et bien sur circuit de freinage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-cyan-bluish-gray-background-color has-background has-medium-font-size\">3. DOT OU MINERAL ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-plain is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Un mauvais entretien, freinage prolong\u00e9, utilisation, intensit\u00e9, syst\u00e8me de freinage inad\u00e9quat en fonction de la pratique, poids, peut provoquer un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de vapor lock<strong> (<\/strong>formation de vapeur dans le syst\u00e8me) = perte d&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 totale ou partielle du freinage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contrairement au DOT qui absorbe l\u2019humidit\u00e9, l\u2019huile min\u00e9rale la laisse se concentrer au point le plus bas du circuit \u2014 souvent l\u2019\u00e9trier, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 la chaleur est la plus forte. R\u00e9sultat : eau = vapeur \u00e0 100\u00b0C = perte de puissance progressive, blocage des pistons (non lubrifi\u00e9s), et dans certains cas, fuite du liquide avec contamination du disque et des plaquettes. Un encha\u00eenement discret mais potentiellement critique. Certaines marques ne proposent pas ces pi\u00e8ces en rechange. Un \u00e9trier neuf est obligatoirement replac\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Propri\u00e9taire et non norm\u00e9e : chaque marque (Shimano, Magura, sram, etc.) impose son propre liquide. Il est obligatoire d\u2019utiliser exactement celui recommand\u00e9, sinon les performances peuvent chuter et la garantie peut sauter. Le cout du liquide pour les ateliers est pour certains produits  10 fois plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 avec le mat\u00e9riel qui doit \u00eatre 100% d\u00e9di\u00e9 pour chaque liquide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le liquide min\u00e9ral utilis\u00e9 dans les freins (Shimano, Magura et maintenant dans les nouveaux freins Sram&#8230;) est un fluide hydraulique \u00e0 base d&rsquo;huile min\u00e9rale, donc issu d\u2019un raffinage du p\u00e9trole. C\u2019est un m\u00e9lange chimique formul\u00e9 pour r\u00e9sister \u00e0 la chaleur, \u00e0 la pression, et ne pas ab\u00eemer les joints. Il est moins corrosif et moins hygroscopique (n\u2019absorbe pas l\u2019eau) que le DOT, mais il reste un produit industriel formul\u00e9 chimiquement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-cyan-bluish-gray-background-color has-background has-medium-font-size\">4. Mettre du DOT dans un syst\u00e8me pr\u00e9vu pour de l\u2019huile min\u00e9rale (ex : Shimano) = destruction des joints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>On ne change pas de fluide sans changer toute la ligne hydraulique (levier, durite, \u00e9trier).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est ce qui rend chaque syst\u00e8me <strong>ferm\u00e9s et non \u00e9volutifs<\/strong>, except\u00e9 certaines marques comme Hope Technology (30 ans d&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience dans le monde du freinage) qui a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des \u00e9triers de freins pour chaque marque avec les pitons et joints appropri\u00e9s pour chaque type de liquide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images
